There will be more about the rangers hut elsewhere in the site (see the subsection of campers when it is completed )

But just to say this was the childrens little safe haven. Erected sometime in the 1950s the hut was the hub of the childrens activities. Day tiome fun and games were held here and early evening activities such as movies and junior bingo.

The hut has in later years been used as a table tennis room and then as a snooker room and now it it has been relegated to a store room. However children of the 60's and 70's will always remember it as the rangers club hut.

Outside the hut were swings, a roundabout and a climbing frame.
